the do’s and don’ts on the field

In generaL the FIL rules will be used during the Rhinocup only with some adjustments as you can find below.

The Womens Teams

There are max 15 players on each team but only 10 players from each team are on the field at one time. These are:

The Mens Teams

Each team must have a captain. Mr or Mrs Captain is the only player who can have a talk with the ref/umpire during the game, without getting a penalty.

GROUP STAGE

Each game consists of two halves, both 20 minutes in length.
A stop clock operates for the last two minutes of each halve. Team change end at the conclusion of each halve.
Between halves there is a 5 minutes break. Each team is permitted to call for one time-out per half, with each time-out being 90 seconds in length.
If a team wins they get 2 points, when its a draw 1 point and when it loses his game it will recieve no points.

WOMENS FINALS

The womens final consists of 2 halfs, each 20 minutes in length. A stop clock operates for the last two minutes of each half. Teams change end at the conclusion of each half. Between halves there is a 5 minute break. Each team is permitted to call for one timeout per half, with each time-out being 90 seconds in length.

After this we know the winners of the Rhinocup 2022 and the this years runners up.

The Field

The playing field is +/- 100m (100 yards) long by +/- 55m (60 yards) wide and is grassed.
Normally they play official Soccergames on these pitches.
The goals are 1.8m (6ft) high by 1.8m (6ft) wide, and are in red with white nets.

SHOT OUT OF BOUNDS

If a shot is taken on goal, the team who is closest to the ball when it went out of bounds is awarded possession.

BALL OUT OF PLAY

When a ball goes out of play the last team in contact prior to the ball going out of bounds loses possession. Play resumes with a whistle.
